Rise: Nurse Career Mastermind

Participant Terms & Agreement

Effective Date: September 12, 2026

These Participant Terms & Agreement (“Agreement”) apply to participation in Rise: Nurse Career Mastermind (“Rise”), a six-week career-development program offered by Joanne Udeh (“Provider,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By purchasing, enrolling in, or participating in Rise, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

1. Program Purpose

Rise is an educational and career-development program designed to help African immigrant and internationally educated nurses strengthen workplace confidence, explore professional and specialty opportunities, develop leadership skills, and make more intentional career decisions within the U.S. nursing environment.

The program may include live group sessions, educational materials, worksheets, career-planning exercises, recordings, discussions, and other professional-development resources.

2. Program Format

Rise is a six-week group program. Program components may include:

Weekly live group sessions
Career-development education and discussions
Practical worksheets and planning tools
Career and specialty exploration
Workplace communication and confidence strategies
Leadership-development activities
A 12-month career roadmap
Session recordings when available

Specific dates, times, delivery methods, and program details will be communicated to registered participants.

3. Educational and Coaching Services

Rise provides general education, coaching, career-development guidance, and professional-development resources.

Participation does not create a nurse-patient, therapist-client, attorney-client, financial-advisor, immigration-advisor, recruiter-candidate, or employment-agency relationship.

Nothing provided through Rise should be considered medical, mental-health, legal, immigration, tax, financial, licensure, or other regulated professional advice.

Participants should consult the appropriate qualified professional or official regulatory authority when individualized advice is required.

4. Nursing Licensure and Employment Disclaimer

Rise does not represent any state Board of Nursing, nursing regulatory body, healthcare organization, employer, credential-evaluation organization, immigration authority, or recruitment agency.

Participants remain responsible for independently verifying current licensing, certification, educational, employment, and regulatory requirements with the appropriate official organizations.

5. No Guarantee of Results

Participation in Rise does not guarantee:

Employment or a new job
Promotion or advancement
Acceptance into a nursing specialty
Increased salary or compensation
Leadership or management positions
Admission to an educational program
Professional certification
Licensure or endorsement
Immigration or visa outcomes
Employer sponsorship
Any specific career or financial result

Career outcomes depend on many factors outside the Provider’s control, including a participant’s qualifications, experience, performance, decisions, employer requirements, regulatory requirements, labor-market conditions, and individual circumstances.

6. Participant Responsibility

Participants are responsible for their own career decisions and actions.

You agree to evaluate recommendations carefully, conduct appropriate research, verify information when necessary, and make decisions based on your individual circumstances.

You are also responsible for completing any exercises or action steps you choose to undertake during the program.

7. Program Fee and Payment

The current program fee for Rise is $249 USD, unless another price or promotional offer is specifically provided at the time of enrollment.

Payment must be completed through the approved checkout method before participation is confirmed.

If installment payment options are offered in the future, the applicable payment schedule and total cost will be disclosed before purchase.

8. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Because Rise includes live group coaching, program materials, planning resources, and access to recordings and other educational content, all sales are final once the program begins.

If you decide not to participate before the program begins, contact us as soon as possible. Any refund or transfer offered before the program begins will be considered according to the cancellation terms communicated at enrollment.

Failure to attend live sessions does not automatically qualify a participant for a refund.

If the Provider cancels the entire program and does not provide a reasonable alternative, participants will receive an appropriate refund for services that were not delivered.

9. Attendance and Recordings

Participants are encouraged to attend live sessions whenever possible.

Some sessions may be recorded so registered participants can review missed sessions or revisit educational content.

By participating in a live session, you understand that your name, voice, image, comments, or contributions could potentially appear in a recording.

Participants who prefer not to appear on camera may keep their camera turned off and should avoid sharing information they do not want included in a recording.

Recordings are intended only for authorized Rise participants and may not be copied, downloaded for redistribution, publicly posted, sold, shared with nonparticipants, or otherwise distributed without written permission.

10. Group Confidentiality

Rise includes group discussions in which participants may share professional experiences, challenges, goals, or personal perspectives.

Participants agree to respect the privacy of other members and not intentionally share another participant’s personal stories, identifying information, workplace information, or private discussions outside the program without that participant’s permission.

Although participants are expected to maintain confidentiality, the Provider cannot guarantee that every participant will comply. Participants should therefore use discretion when sharing sensitive information.

Do not disclose confidential patient information, protected health information, employer-protected information, or information that could violate professional or workplace confidentiality requirements.

11. Professional Conduct

Rise is intended to provide a respectful and supportive learning environment.

Participants agree to communicate respectfully and refrain from harassment, discrimination, threats, bullying, disruptive behavior, or inappropriate conduct toward the Provider or other participants.

The Provider reserves the right to remove a participant whose behavior significantly disrupts the program, threatens the safety or privacy of others, or repeatedly violates these terms.

Removal for serious misconduct may occur without a refund.

12. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, Rise materials—including worksheets, frameworks, presentations, videos, recordings, templates, exercises, written resources, and other program content—are owned by or licensed to the Provider.

Your enrollment gives you a limited right to use these materials for your personal educational and career-development purposes.

You may not reproduce, resell, publish, distribute, teach, upload, commercially exploit, or substantially copy program materials without prior written permission.

13. Testimonials

Participation in Rise does not automatically give the Provider permission to publicly use your name, photograph, image, personal story, or testimonial for marketing purposes.

If we would like to use an identifiable testimonial or participant story, separate permission will be requested.

14. Technology

Rise may rely on third-party services for video meetings, payments, email communications, website access, forms, or delivery of program materials.

The Provider is not responsible for temporary interruptions or technical problems caused by third-party platforms or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Participants are responsible for maintaining suitable internet access and compatible technology needed to participate.

15. Program Changes

The Provider may make reasonable adjustments to program schedules, teaching order, resources, session format, or program content when necessary to improve delivery or respond to unforeseen circumstances.

Any material changes affecting participants will be communicated as reasonably practical.

16. Privacy

Personal information collected through enrollment, payment, applications, forms, or participation will be handled according to the Provider’s applicable Privacy Policy.

Payment information may also be processed by third-party payment providers according to their own terms and privacy practices.

17. Limitation of Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Provider is not responsible for career, employment, financial, licensing, immigration, educational, or professional decisions made by participants based on their participation in Rise.

Participants retain responsibility for their own decisions and actions.

Nothing in this Agreement is intended to exclude or limit rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

18. Agreement

By purchasing or participating in Rise: Nurse Career Mastermind, you acknowledge that:

You have read and understood these Participant Terms & Agreement; you understand the educational and career-development nature of the program; you understand that individual results are not guaranteed; and you agree to be bound by these terms.
