1. About the Course

The Licensing Roadmap for African Internationally Educated Nurses is a self-paced educational course offered by Joanne Udeh / IEN Career Guidance (“we,” “us,” or “our”). It may include recorded lessons, worksheets, study-planning tools, checklists, budget and timeline planners, recruiter red-flag guidance, and other digital resources.

2. Educational Purpose and Important Disclaimer

The course provides general educational and organizational information. It is not legal advice, immigration advice, licensure representation, recruitment, job placement, financial advice, tax advice, or individualized professional advice.

Nursing licensure, examination, credentialing, employment, and immigration requirements vary by jurisdiction and individual circumstances and may change. You are responsible for confirming current requirements directly with the applicable Board of Nursing, NCSBN, examination provider, credentialing organization, government agency, employer, attorney, or other appropriately qualified professional.

3. No Guarantee of Results

Purchasing or completing the course does not guarantee NCLEX eligibility or success, nursing licensure, visa approval, employment, placement, salary, relocation, or any other specific outcome. Examples and personal experiences are provided for educational purposes and do not promise that you will receive the same result.

4. Price and Payment

The course price is displayed at checkout and is currently offered as a one-time payment of $49 USD. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. You authorize the stated charge when you complete your purchase. You are responsible for any currency-conversion charges, bank fees, taxes, or similar charges that may apply to your transaction.

5. Digital Access and Delivery

This is a digital product. Access instructions will be provided electronically after successful payment, using the email address supplied at checkout or through the designated course-access page. You are responsible for entering a valid email address and maintaining sufficient internet access and compatible equipment.

6. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Because access to digital course materials is provided after purchase, payments are generally final and non-refundable once access has been delivered or used. If you are charged incorrectly, cannot access the product because of a problem on our side, or believe exceptional circumstances apply, contact us promptly so we can review the matter.

This policy does not limit any refund, cancellation, dispute, or other consumer right that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

7. Personal-Use License

Your purchase gives you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the course for your personal educational use. Ownership of the course and its content is not transferred to you.

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not share login or access information; copy, reproduce, record, republish, upload, sell, sublicense, distribute, or publicly display course materials; remove ownership notices; or use the materials to create a competing product or service without prior written permission. Reasonable personal notes and completed worksheets for your own use are permitted.

9. Intellectual Property

Course videos, text, graphics, downloads, worksheets, branding, and original materials are owned by or licensed to Joanne Udeh / IEN Career Guidance and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these terms are reserved.

10. Participant Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate purchase information, use the course lawfully, protect your access credentials, independently verify official requirements, and make your own decisions based on your circumstances. You remain responsible for applications, deadlines, documents, payments to third parties, contracts, and professional advice you choose to obtain.

11. Third-Party Information and Links

The course may refer or link to third-party websites, agencies, organizations, products, or services. These are provided for convenience and education. We do not control third-party content, availability, fees, policies, or decisions, and inclusion does not necessarily constitute endorsement. Always review current information directly with the responsible organization.

12. Course Updates and Availability

We may correct errors, update materials, replace lessons, or make reasonable changes to improve accuracy and usability. Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical problems, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If the course is permanently discontinued while you are entitled to access, we will provide a reasonable alternative when practicable, subject to applicable law.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Joanne Udeh / IEN Career Guidance will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of or reliance on the course, third-party decisions, missed deadlines, contracts, applications, or outcomes. Our total liability relating to the course will not exceed the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

14. Privacy

Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Stripe and any course-delivery provider may process information under their own privacy terms.

15. Termination of Access

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these terms, share access without permission, misuse the materials, attempt fraud, or interfere with the course or other users. When appropriate, we may first provide notice and an opportunity to correct the violation. Termination for misuse does not automatically create a right to a refund, except where required by law.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms prospectively when the course, law, or business practices change. The effective date will identify the latest version. Material changes will not retroactively remove rights already earned under applicable law.

17. Governing Principles and Severability

These terms are governed by applicable law. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the information presented at checkout, form the agreement relating to your purchase.
